Do you want to find every Stardrop in Stardew Valley? Read this complete guide to learn more! Note: This guide is updated for Windows PC, Android, iOS, and Linux.
Stardew Valley is a casual game of farming that requires Energy to make your Farmer move. Of course, there’s fishing and other activities, but the point is that you’re limited in the first few seasons. Nonetheless, progressing far enough will get you through several Stardrops that’ll help your journey.
This guide will talk about the mysterious fruit and reveal every location to acquire them.
What is a Stardrop?
A Stardrop (also known as Cosmic Fruit) is a special item that gives additional 34 points of Energy upon consumption. The consumption immediately happens upon acquiring the item, restoring your Energy (but not Health).
Since Day 1, you’ll have 270 Energy. Getting all Stardrops in Stardew Valley will almost double that value to 508 (maximum Energy). Moreover, it’s one of the requirements for achieving Perfection.
When creating a new profile at the beginning of the game, you’ll encounter the Favorite Thing section. Whatever you put there will be shown upon consuming a Stardrop. Afterward, you’ll see one of two possible texts:
- “It’s strange, but the taste reminds you of (Favorite Thing).”
- “Your mind is filled with thoughts of (Favorite Thing).”
Note: Putting ConcernedApe (case-sensitive) as your Favorite Thing will trigger a special text.

Source 2: Stardew Valley Fair
During Fall 16, the seasonal Stardew Valley Fair will take place at the Pelican Town Square. The festival introduces a new currency – Star Tokens – for purchasing exclusive items at a Vendor’s Stand.
One Stardrop sells for a staggering 2,000 Star Tokens.
We have some tips for you to get that amount quickly:
- Play mini-games, though they usually don’t give much and are grindy.
- Bet your Star Tokens on the Spinning Wheel (75% and 25% on Green and Orange, respectively).
- Win first place in the Grange Display contest (tip: sort items in different categories).
Source 3: Reach the Mines Level 100
The task is simple, as the title says, but we have some tips to help you reach the floor faster:
- Buy bombs from Dwarf
- Bring lots of food
- Upgrade your Pickaxe
- Use better swords
- Mine on lucky days or maximize your Luck
- Craft staircases
Source 4: The Sewers
Upon completing a milestone in finishing the Museum Collection, Gunther will open you a Rusty Key. The wallet item opens the Pelican Town Sewers, where Krobus lives and sells different goods. One of them is the Stardrop, costing 20,000g.
Source 5: Marriage
After reaching 12.5 hearts (friendship level) with your spouse, you’ll receive a Stardrop upon exiting the Farmhouse. In multiplayer games, both players will obtain the item once the wedding ceremony is completed. If both players decide to divorce and remarry NPCs, no Stardrop will be received.
Source 6: Old Master Cannoli
At the Secret Woods, giving a Sweet Gem Berry to Old Master Cannoli’s statue will guarantee a Stardrop. You can buy the Rare Seed from the Traveling Cart every Friday and Sunday.
You’ll need a Steel Axe or use the chair exploit to cross toward the fallen log to access the area.
To do the exploit, sit on a chair and then get up again. You’ll find yourself inside the Secret Woods.
Source 7: Catch All Fish
