Who Is Sophia?
Sophia is a shy and reserved pink-haired farmer who works and lives in the Blue Moon Vineyard. She likes spending her free time watching anime, reading manga, and cosplaying. She is a marriageable NPC who took over her family farm after the death of her loving parents.
Where Does Sophia Live in Stardew Valley?
You can find Sophia in the Blue Moon Vineyard, which is a new location added by the Stardew Valley Expanded mod. This vineyard is located between the forest and the beach, in the southeast of Marnie’s Ranch.
The Blue Moon Vineyard opens between 8:00AM to 9:00PM. It was previously owned by Sophia’s parents who passed away tragically. You can find Sophia in the building behind the fields. You can also purchase Quality Sprinklers, Aged Blue Moon Wine, and Blue Moon Wine from her using a catalog found in one of the main rooms.
Family and Relationships
The truth about Sophia’s family is kind of a mystery that you can uncover by talking to Gus, who is her friend. Sophia inherited the Blue Moon Vineyard from her parents after they died tragically.
When you talk to Gus about her, he’ll tell you that her parents were run over by a lorry driver on the motorway. Apparently, this Joja Mart lorry was carrying more than its allocated weight limit, which resulted in the accident and death of Sophia’s parents. Both her father (Robert) and her mother (Alice) were killed in the accident.
Sophia is quite a shy person but she does have some friends. She is friends with Gus, Haley, Emily, Scarlett, and Victor. Her best friend is Scarlett, who you will get to meet at Sophia’s two-heart event. Scarlett will tell you more about Sophia’s loss and grief as the two are really close.

What Is Sophia’s Movie Theater Taste? Favorite Movies and Concessions
Recently introduced in Stardew Valley, the Movie Theater is a great new addition to the game that allows you to watch a movie every week either alone, or with someone. You can unlock the Movie Theater by finishing the Community Center of Joja’s Community Upgrades.
It is a really fun way to spend your time and if you invite a villager to a movie that they like, you will get 100 friendship points with them. If it is a movie that they love, you will get 200 friendship points. And if they dislike that movie, you will not get any points.
These movies rotate randomly and just like any other movie theater, you will also find snacks at the concession counter that also rotate randomly. If you give a villager a snack that they like, you will get 25 friendship points with them. If you give a villager a snack that they love, you will get 50 friendship points with them. And if they dislike that snack, you will not get any points.
So it’s important to find out what movie’s showing and what your favorite villager’s likes and dislikes are in movies and snacks.

When you befriend Sophia, spend time with her, and present her with gifts, you will get hearts in your heart meter or friendship bar with her. After reaching a certain number of hearts, special heart events will be triggered.
