Victor in Stardew Valley Expanded — Everything You Need To Know

Victor Stardew Valley Expanded

Who Is Victor?

Introduced by the Stardew Valley Expanded mod, Victor is a new resident in Pelican town who has just graduated from a prestigious university. He did Bachelor’s in Engineering and came top of his class. He has moved to the town with his mother, Olivia, who has just retired from JojaCo.

Right now, Victor has no clue what to do with his life. However, he does know that he’s looking for a profession that would rather make him content, not rich. Most of the days, you will find Victor in the museum, reading books, playing arcade games, spending time in the park, or just looking out at the ocean.

Where Does Victor Live In Stardew Valley?

Victor Stardew Valley Residence — Jenkin's Residence

Victor lives in the Jenkin’s Residence with his mother, Olivia. Jenkin’s Residence is located to the east of Pierre’s General Store and to the north of 1 River Road. It is a huge house with a fancy interior. It opens from 9:00 am till 10:00 pm. This big green house even has a library and cellar inside and is definitely worth checking out!

Family And Relationships

Olivia Stardew Valley

Although Victor lives at home with his mother, it can be sometimes stressful as both of them are too similar, which results in a clash of personalities. Although his mother wants the best for him, she doesn’t get that what she thinks is the best and what he truly wants is not the same thing.

While the mother and son do not share any hobbies, Victor loves how his mother can pick up any hobbies and knows how to keep herself occupied no matter what phase of her life it is.

As far as Victor’s friends are concerned, he is close friends with Abigail, Sebastian, and Sam, who are all into video games like him. He joins them every Friday by the pool table in the Saloon. Victor is also friends with Sophia, who was introduced to him by his mother while purchasing the Blue Moon Wine.

What Is Victor’s Schedule In Stardew Valley?

Victor Stardew Valley Expanded

When out, he spends his time at the small park which is in the north of the blacksmith. He also visits the beach, museum, Blue Moon Vineyard, and Pierre’s shop.

On Fridays, you will find him at the Saloon by the pool table with Sebastian, Abigail, and Sam. He also goes to Sebastian’s room to play games on every 20th.

Victor in Stardew Valley: Heart Events

Victor Stardew Valley

When you befriend Victor and get closer to him by earning his trust and giving him gifts that he likes and loves, your heart meter with him will increase. This increase in the heart meter triggers special heart events, which are basically cut-scenes.

Here’s a list of all of Victor’s heart events:

No. of HeartsHeart Event
2You find Victor reading in his house. He’s reading a novel related to an adventurer in the Fern Islands. He then tells you about a clan who protects those islands, The First Slash. Upon listening to this, you have the option to say, “Have you considered joining the Adventurer’s Guild?” or “I want to visit the islands sometime!”

If you pick the first option, Victor replies by laughing and saying that he is better off studying about monsters than fighting monsters.
If you pick the second option, he tells you about his vacation in the Fern Islands with his mom. Later on, he tells you that he has read 3/4th of the collection in his library and offers to loan those books to you. He returns to reading. This grants you +50 friendship points.
3You run into Victor who is standing and taking notes on the Shearwater Bridge. He tells you how he loves the engineering involved in bridges and that he’s helping out a bridge engineer in Grampleton to get some experience. Later on, he kindly returns to make some calculations on his computer. This grants you +50 friendship points.
4You find Victor in the graveyard. He’s staring at a grave and when you ask him about it, he reveals to you that the grave belongs to his cat Dewey, who Victor and Olivia lost after moving to Pelican Town. Although the entire town helped them find Dewey, he was nowhere to be found.
After some time, Victor got a grave made in his memory. However, he still hopes that his cat is alive somewhere and he’d always be around if Dewey comes back home.
For listening to this story, you get 40 friendship points and the next day, Victor sends you a letter, expressing his gratitude for you listening to them.
6 You run into Victor who is standing alongside the pond, north of Clint’s shop. He tells you how his mother is mad at him for not finding a job. He also reveals that he has been denying job offers and internships as he didn’t find them interesting. He expresses how he envies that you quit your job at Joja Co. and just came to the farm.
After listening to this, you can either say, “Working at Joja was the worst.“. To which Victor says how toxic that work environment must have been for you. He tells you that Olivia has been pressuring him into a career just for money.
Although the town does not have many jobs to offer, he is still hopeful that he will find a job that he actually loves. After listening to this, you get 75 friendship points.
You also get the option to say, “You should move to the city and get a job.” To which he replies that not only is it hard to find a job that doesn’t need a commute to the city, he also does not want to leave the town. He has spent his entire life in Zuzu City and now that he is in Stardew Valley where he feels like home, he cannot imagine going back. After this, you lose 125 friendship points
Note: This conversation will happen alongside the river south of Jenkin’s mailbox if you have completed the JojaMart route.
8Olivia finds Victor’s diary when cleaning his room, in which she finds out that Victor has been denying job offers. When confronting him with this, she threatens to kick him out of the house and cut him off completely. While Victor is explaining things to his mother, you show up from the library. His mother accuses you of listening to their conversation while you try to explain that you were just there to borrow some books and heard them arguing. Victor then asks his mother to listen to him.
Here, you get two options: either to stay quiet or to agree with his mother.
If you don’t say anything, Victor will explain to his mother that he had been denying job offers because he knew what he wanted to do in his life. He tells her that he finds bridge engineering quite interesting and that he has been working as an apprentice with a person in Grampleton who deals with constructing and maintaining bridges. He only wanted to tell Olivia about this until he was 100% sure that the apprenticeship was official. Upon this, Olivia apologizes to him and everyone then celebrates Victor’s news. Here, you get 50 friendship points.
If you say, “Listen to your mom and move to the city“, Olivia will feel supported by you and reiterate that Victor needs to go back to Zuzu City to find work. She will thank and dismiss you and if you speak to Victor later on, he will tell you that he didn’t like you agreeing with his mother. He will then share his apprenticeship news with you and will tell you that he feels betrayed and hurt by you. He will then send you away. Here, you lose 1250 friendship points.
10Victor comes out of the Jenkin’s house in the morning to check his mail. He tries to run to you with exciting news but finds out that you are walking into the town. He tells you that he has got a formal acceptance letter and you are the first person he wanted to share the news with. He then asks you to walk with him up to the summit. He thanks you for your constant support and kisses you on the overlook.
12 (Part 1)Victor starts his busy day by making coffee in the morning. He tells you that they have asked Victor to inspect the mountain bridge to the quarry and determine its safety. He asks you if you want to come with him and watch him work between 12 pm to 5 pm.
12 (Part 2)When you go to the bridge to see Victor work, he is surprised that you showed up and tells you what he is doing with the surveying equipment. He asks you for some help, after which the scene is cut to the day’s end and you both prepare to get home when you hear a rustle in the bushes.
Victor is scared and thinks that it’s a monster. He seeks your protection and as this is all happening, a cat appears out of the bushes. It’s actually Dewey, Victor’s lost cat! Right afterwards, a second cat appears. Victor is rejoiced to see this and wants to bring both the cats back home to live with him. However, Dewey wants to stay in the wild with the other cat.
Victor happily accepts this and is glad that Dewey is alive and okay. You both then go back home. The next day when you talk to him, he tells you that he has asked Robin to get rid of the memorial for Dewey at the graveyard that she originally built. He wonders what Dewey and his friend are doing and if he will ever see them again.
14 (Part 1)You enter the house and see Victor talking to himself. When he realizes that you are home, he tells you that he’s got a contract to renovate the Shearwater Bridge. The structural integrity of the bridge has been damaged because of Joja’s cargo trucks coming from Grampleton.
According to him, these repairs could take 3 weeks and he will start the next morning. The bridge will remain closed to the public during this time. If it is 11:10 pm or later, he will tell you that he’s tired and suggests that you both go to bed.
14 (Part 2)Victor tells you that the repair of the bridge is almost finished and that he managed to do it all under the budget. He then tells you that he has something planned at the site for the both of you for tomorrow night. He also makes you promise not to go see the newly repaired bridge before then.
14 (Part 3)You arrive at the newly renovated bridge where you find out that Victor has arranged a dinner date with you. He tells you how repairing the bridge was so difficult as he had to deal with problems that he had never before. He tells you that he wishes that the newly repaired bridge will enhance the image of Pelican Town and attract more visitors. You both then sit down to have a romantic meal, spaghetti, provided by Gus.
