Who is Leo in Stardew Valley?
He’s a local from Ginger Island who moves to Pelican Town once you earn enough friendship with him. Unfortunately, his parents died in a shipwreck leaving him alone on the island. But he’ll find a loving family of parrots who’ll take good care of him.
Friendships and Relationships
Initially, establishing a good bond with him can be tricky, but you may easily befriend him by offering ten Golden Walnuts to his parrot friends. Heart Events
If you’ve accumulated more than zero points with Leo, congratulations! In return for your efforts, you’ll get to learn more about his story in Stardew Valley. Unlike most kids in-game, Leo has more heart events like a regular adult villager. Below are his special cutscenes!
No. Of Hearts | Events |
2 | On a bright day, you’ll meet him in Island West from around 6 AM to 6 PM. He’ll ask you what you were doing, and you may give him the following replies: • You were thinking of someone special. • Enjoying the waves. • Trying to catch some fish. • Thinking about something theoretical. Regardless of your answers, it won’t affect your friendship with him. He then asks again what your home is like in Pelican Town. • Tell him it’s a place filled with people. • Your home is surrounded by forests, mountains, and beaches. • Say that it’s similar to Ginger Island, but a little colder. • Simply reply that you live on a farm. Again, your answer won’t affect your friendship with him. But he would inquire if there are kids in the place you live in. You have two choices to respond to him: • Yes. • Ask why would it matter to a bird such as himself. Whichever your response is, it won’t have a negative or positive effect on your bond. However, he would explain that he knew that he wasn’t a bird, he just tries to fit in. He runs off before Willy comes in, but it then leaves you pondering what you can do to help him. |
3 | After reaching this bond level, you’ll receive Poi’s recipe. He says that it’s a food that he and his family enjoys. |
4 | If you enter Island North on a sunny day around 6 AM to 6 PM, He’ll get startled and you’ll also be surprised by his reaction after you approach him. Nonetheless, he brings up a conversation about his questions if he’ll ever become a regular kid too. He ponders over the idea of what other kids would think of him. Regardless of these inquiries, he ends the conversation by telling you that he’s glad that he met you and his parrot family. He also teaches you how to say “Let’s play,” in parrot language. |
6 | If you meet him from 6 AM to 6 PM, you’ll trigger a cutscene wherein you’re with Linus and Willy while talking to Leo. Linus invites the younger one to live with him in the mountains. While Willy also tells him that he can visit the island anytime he wants. In the end, Leo decides to move in tow. He’ll live in a treehouse made by his parrot family. |
7 | He’ll send you another recipe that they really like and that’s the Mango Sticky Rice recipe, |
9 | In his final heart event, you’ll see how well he adjusts in town as he spends time with Linus and the other villagers. He studies with Jas and Vincent in the local library, fishes with Willy, and cooks good meals with Linus. |
The Saturday schedule for Leo, more than 6 hearts, Spring Sat 6, is not correct; he was not in the playground with Jas, Vincent and Penny, nor did he return to his treehouse. My character waited until 1:00 am and periodically checked to see whether he had slipped past and was in bed asleep – but he was not.
