Stardew Valley Character Guide: Vincent

If you’re on a mission to meet all the people who live in Pelican Town, then there is no over you could skip over Stardew Valley Vincent, who is a lovely little boy. His family includes his father Kent, his mother Jodi, and his brother Sam (one of the most popular bachelors!).

If you’re trying to find him somewhere around the town, he will most likely be having fun with his best friends Jas and Leo.

Take a look at this Vincent guide below and learn more about this particular character, who can be a truly lovely addition to your friends list.

Stardew Valley Vincent’s Schedule

If you’re planning to find him for any particular reason, he has a schedule just like most of the NPCs in this game.

Despite the fact that his schedule can change a little bit, he does have some tendencies that you can keep in mind or note down.

For example, he usually wakes up at 9 AM in the morning. Vincent is still a child, so he spends a lot of time playing outside. Or he could simply head to town to meet up with fellow kids of the Pelican Town.

Since he is probably not allowed to spend a lot of time away from home, he will come back at roughly 7 PM. Just like most kids, he needs to be educated, so he goes to the museum with Penny and Jas on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. That’s where Penny tutors them.

Of course, if it’s summertime, he will spend most of his time at the beach swimming and enjoying the warmer days.

If it’s raining, he will probably stay at home just like most of the NPCs. Unless it’s the 11th of Spring because that’s when he has to go to his doctors.

Just like with most NPCs, his schedule can change a bit if there’s a big celebration in the city. For example, he will join the Night Market on the 16th of Winter.

Vincent’s Family and Friendships

As mentioned above, Vincent lives with his mom Jodi and his brother Sam. When it comes to his dad, he spent quite some time in the war, but later he comes back home to Pelican Town to continue living with his family.

Vincent’s mother Jas is a very lovely woman, who truly spoils both of her kids.

His brother Sam is one of the most popular characters in the game, mostly because he is an eligible bachelor for other characters. He is a friendly and outgoing guy who is full of energy. No surprise why many like him. If you won’t find him working at JojaMart, then he will most likely be practicing his guitar skills. Due to his dad being in the war, Sam thinks that he has to take care of Vincent, so they are very close. Even if Sam moves out due to marriage, he will still sometimes come back to pay a visit to his family members.

Stardew Valley Vincent spends most of his time with Jas. To be fair, Jas is one of the few kids in Pelican Town, so it’s not very surprising.

The Best and the Worst Gifts for Vincent

If you’re planning to become great friends with this character, you might want to note down what he likes as gifts.

Also, his birthday is on the 10th of Spring, so you can raise your friendship level even more if you give him a gift on that particular day. If you’re trying to remember all the birthdays, using the Stardew Valley calendar could be an easier way to keep everything in mind.

Here’s What Stardew Valley Vincent Loves

Here are some of the things that Vincent will appreciate:

  • Cranberry candy
  • Ginger ale
  • Grape
  • Pink cake
  • Snail
  • Coconut
  • Daffodil

Most of these items are quite easy to get, so it shouldn’t be a problem if you want to make his day better!

Here’s What Stardew Valley Vincent Hates

However, when it comes to slightly worse gifts, try not to give him:

  • Chanterelle
  • Common Mushroom
  • Dandelion
  • Ginger
  • Hazelnut
  • Holly
  • Leek
  • Morel
  • Purple mushroom
  • Quartz
  • Clay
  • Pina Colada
  • Triple shot espresso
  • Wild horseradish

It’s interesting to see that many of his disliked items include various types of mushroom, so maybe it’s better not to bring him foraging!

As you can see from the guide above, Vincent is an adorable NPC, so it’s definitely worth meeting him at least a few times around the city! Don’t be scared to say hi when you see him playing with Jas!
