There’s a neat and simple trick to this without using the mods. But if you’re interested in the mods, don’t worry, we got you covered.

Whether you’re up for a challenge or just want to get some profit, it’s wise to decide what farm type you’ll want to have. Be sure to check our best guides and mods here!

Why Move Buildings in Stardew Valley?

There aren’t a lot of things you need to consider when you want to move builds in Stardew Valley.

Sometimes, the locations of the buildings aren’t fully optimized where you want them to be. And sometimes, it’s too stiff to get through and quite tasky to move around with the roadblock hampering your optimized route.

Oftentimes, your animals get trapped in one of the interiors of the buildings, which will eventually kill them, since they’re not registered inside the buildings.

One of the easiest ways to deal with stuck buildings or just straight-up unpleasant ones is to talk to one of the NPCs in the game. Robin is your main girl when it comes to moving your buildings.

You need to talk to her to move your buildings. Simply initiate a conversation, view the building from her Build Menu, and then move the buildings to your desired location.

This method is a lot simpler and easier for you to do since you’re mostly not gonna be bothered by moving buildings using mods.

How to Find Robin in the Game

Robin resides in one of the in-game locations of the Mountain area, which is due north of Pelican Town. She lives with Demetrius, and two others inside the Carpenter Shop.

To locate her, simply follow the roads that lead to the Mountain area, which you can view via the map. If this is your first time playing the game, you might not need to move buildings just yet. But you need to explore the game’s areas first and familiarize yourself with the geography and topographic locations.

The Carpenter Shop is available only from 9:00 AM up until 8:00 PM, except on Tuesdays, Festival days, and when she’s busy with your buildings. Also, it’s good to note that you can buy tons of stuff from Robin’s store. Her store usually has wood, stone, and furniture. She will also buy from you some clay, fiber, hardwood, and other building materials.
