Adding a Tapper on trees lets you discover more things, such as Oak Resin in Stardew Valley. Knowing that this Oak Tree product is inedible, you might be wondering what you can do with it. It’s not as helpful as most items, but you can still use it in enhancing your gaming experience.

What’s an Oak Resin?

An Oak Resin is a form of tree sap produced by tapped Oak Trees. It’s a nonseasonal item that takes seven to eight days to complete its process. You’ll see it classified as an artisan good, but the plot twist is you won’t gain benefits from it even if you have an Artisan Profession.

However, the Tapper Profession would most likely favor you as it adds 25% to its value.

Where to get it?

You’ll initially get this good from tapped Oak Trees, but there’s also a 1.30% probability of obtaining them from Haunted Skulls. And you also have a 0.66% chance to get them from a Wood Chipper while processing some Hard Wood.

Selling

Oak Resin isn’t the best money-maker, but if you don’t find it useful, you can sell it for 150g. Its price turns to 187g if you have the mentioned profession.

Crafting

Aside from vending an Oak Resin (OR), you can make a Deluxe Speed-Gro with this tree sap. It’s a fertilizer that helps your plants grow 25% faster and improves the quality of your crops, making them more profitable.
