Are you looking for hardwood? Look no further! The woods are an excellent place to forage hardwood as they 6 stumps, every day they will regrow. Therefore, if you’re ever in need of hardwood, there will always be some in the woods. If you can’t seem to find the last two stumps of hardwood, you will need to find the hidden passage.

Furthermore, if you are looking for worms, bring the hoe to the woods. You can dig up the ground and find up to 3 worms that you could take back to the museum.

Fishing

There is a great fishing spot in the Stardew Valley Secret Woods. The pool in the woods has rare fish inside, such as the Woodskip! This is a great way to find fish that are required for certain bundles so that you can progress through the game. Or, you could sell the fish and get some lovely gold in return.

Statue

Thirdly, within the secret woods, you will find a statue. The statue can be found in the left area of the secret woods. If you click on the statue it will state that Old Master Cannoli is searching for a sweet taste. This is a great opportunity to earn a Stardrop (permanently raises your maxmimum amount of energy). To get the Stardrop, you will simply need to give the statue a Sweet Gem Berry. You can give it the same way you give other villagers in the game gifts.

The Travelling Cart

If you’re wondering how to get rare seeds in Stardew Valley, you can purchase them from the travelling cart. The cart can be found on Fridays and Sundays on the way to the Secret Woods. If you haven’t got a Sweet Gem Berry for Old Master Cannoli, you can purchase a Rare Seed from the cart and let it grow during early Fall.

Slimes

You can increase your combat XP by killing Slimes. Make sure you have a good weapon! Don’t worry if you’re terrible at combat, killing Slimes is not that difficult.
