Stardew Valley Fruit Trees Guide

Quite often players focus on seeds, but what about Stardew Valley fruit trees? Let’s take a look at the best trees, what season is the best for them, and how to grow trees in the Greenhouse.

This is your Fruit Tree guide, so stick around if you want to learn more useful information for this game.

Fruit Trees in Stardew Valley: Are They Worth It?

The short answer is yes. The longer answer is still yes, but getting good results might take some time. For example, there are even nights when your fruit trees will not be growing. One of the main reasons why your fruit tree wasn’t able to grow is because of debris. Also, your tree can even be hit by lightning.

How many fruit trees are there and how much does it cost? Well, you can get all six types of trees for a bit more 25k coins. It does cost quite a lot, but keep in mind that it will bring money back to you.

The good thing about these trees is that they won’t die in winter and will just continue growing. Also, the quality of what you get from the tree increases every year, so you’ll definitely get some nice items if you wait. You don’t even have to water the trees, so it’s quite easy to take care of them.

Stardew Valley Fruit Trees Spacing

If you’re planning to get some trees, keep in mind that you need to think about spacing. First of all, the trees need a 3×3 area to grow. However, it doesn’t mean that it has to be complicated. You can just plant them around the Greenhouse or outside around the Farm building.

Trees By Season

If you’re in a mood for the best results, there are some specific trees you need for different seasons. Of course, any tree can bring you a lot of money, but some do more than others.

Spring: Cherry Tree

For a bit more than 3k Gold you can get yourself a Cherry Tree which is an ideal thing for Spring. Even if the price is quite high, the Cherry Tree will produce a lot of berries, so you will quickly get your investment back.

Summer: Peach Tree

This one will take you back by 6k Gold. However, a common Peach can be sold for 140 Gold, so definitely worth it. That’s why it’s still one of the best crops for the Summer, so definitely don’t sleep on this possibility. The price is a bit of a downside, but it will be great for you in the long run!

Fall: Pomegranate Tree

If you enjoy the investment of a Peach Tree, then a Pomegranate Tree will be a great alternative during the colder months. The tree produces a lot of fruit, so you can make jelly which is very valuable in the game. It might be a bit too expensive with the 6k Gold, but definitely worth it for the older players.

Here’s everything you need to know about Fruit Trees in Stardew Valley. They can be very beneficial, so it’s no surprise that players love having them in the game!
