Stardew Valley Character Guide: Evelyn

Probably no character is more universally liked than Stardew Valley Evelyn. She is a sweet old woman who lives on River Road with her husband George. Evelyn has lived here her whole life, so she knows pretty much everyone and can be a great source for advice.

She is the granny of Pelican Town and her being in charge of the city’s flowers only makes her character even more lovable.

Let’s take a look at the most popular topics connected to this NPC: the Evelyn leek quest, her birthday, what does Evelyn like, and much more!

Evelyn’s Family in the Game

She might not have many close friends, but her family makes up for that. She has a husband named George and a grandson named Alex, who is a very popular Stardew Valley character.

Her husband George has been an interesting topic in various discussion groups for this particular game. Some players are saying that he is too rude, that you can see his ableism. That’s why some creators even made a mod that slightly changes the way he speaks. This is done so that no players would feel disrespected.

Other than that, Evelyn’s daughter Clara has been dead for many years. Despite having only one grandson, she is considered to be the granny of her town. Literally. Once you meet her, she lets you call her granny.

Stardew Valley Evelyn’s Schedule

If you’re trying to find Evelyn, the easiest way would be to visit her home. She is usually in the kitchen or somewhere outside. Her flower hobby makes her spend quite some time in the garden that can be found in the town center.

Just like most NPCs, she has a special day just for doctor visits. For her it’s the 2nd of every season. Also, her husband George is not very healthy, so he needs her help. She helps him get to his own appointment on the 23rd of every season.

There are also some exceptions for particular days. For example, on the 17th of Winter she will visit the Night Market at 4.30 PM and leave at a bit after 11 PM.

Also, if it’s rainy, she will spend even more time at home. Meaning, she will either be in her bedroom, her kitchen, or will just watch TV with her husband.
