Squid Kid Stardew Valley: The Best Fighting Guide

If you’re new to the game, you might ask yourself “What the hell is a squid kid?”. Well, a squid kid is one of the hostile NPCs in Stardew Valley. These Mr. Moon-like monsters dwell on the innermost levels of the mines, usually on the 80th up to the 120th floors.

Normally, they’re pretty timid. But not until you’re in their range of fireball attacks. They aren’t necessarily dangerous and you can pretty much dodge their attacks by moving around. Again, they’re not really that much of a threat. Squid kids boast a laughable 1 HP. You can literally 1 hit this guy.

Also, these creatures drop some useful items like bombs, dwarven scrolls, gold bars, solar essence, and squid inks.

In fact, squid kids in Stardew Valley are one of the easiest enemies to kill in the mines. You’ll have more time trying to slay a slime compared to these moving balls of firing fireballs.

Where to find Squid Kid in Stardew Valley

Well, as I’ve mentioned earlier, squid kids usually hang out within the mines. You wouldn’t really encounter them early, since there are tons of things to do instead of just “oh yeah, lemme just head into the mines and kill some kids.”

Squid kids do not spawn in great numbers either, so you can’t really farm them much. Also, once you’re out of their range, they’ll stop attacking you.

Stardew Valley Squid Kid Level Floor

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before, but you’ll only see the squid kids in the mines. They spawn on the 80th up to the 120th floors. There are no more of these creatures beyond those floors.

If you’re wondering what the Squid Kid looks like, here they are. They look like some bald kid who age prematurely and started throwing fireballs at you. They aren’t necessarily scary at all.
