It’s not as lucrative as a legendary fish, but they give decent profit for beginners. And with the right bait, tackle,  fishing rod, and knowledge, you’ll get this fish in no time!

What is a Dorado in Stardew Valley?

It’s a Fishing Pole Fish known to be a fierce orange-scaled carnivore in the Valley. Getting it has a difficulty of 78, and its size ranges from 24 to 33 inches. That’s a pretty massive creature, don’t you think?

Moreover, it’s also known for its mixed behavior, which means that they utilize a basic movement pattern. But this doesn’t necessarily mean that you can get them effortlessly. It still requires you to put in some effort with your fishing proficiencies!

If you ever obtain one, you can also consume it raw and receive the following healing effects alongside some XP to aid your Fishing Level:

Where to Catch Dorado in Stardew Valley?

Here’s the fun part wherein you can hopefully get this fish in-game. It’s usually accessible, and it won’t give you a hard time finding it. You’ll have higher streaks of acquiring it if you’re fishing during Summer in any weather from 6 AM to 7 PM in the Forest River.

What Can You Get from a Dorado?

Owning a Dorado Pond also offers benefits similar to your farm animals. You may even obtain these loots by just reaching the ninth level. Below are the loots you’ll occasionally receive from them in Stardew Valley:

Quests

If you’ve visited the new board outside Mayor Lewis’ home, the Special Orders Board, you’ll find the Aquatic Overpopulation Quest. This task involves Demetrius, and he’ll ask you for ten pieces of Dorado.
