How to Grow Tea in Stardew Valley

If you’re still very new to the game, there are a few things you should know. There are a lot of crops that you can grow on your farm, and this can be very profitable. However, you can also create edible and drinkable items which will be beneficial for your health. Tea is one of such items.

Get Tea Saplings in Stardew Valley

It might not be so easy to grow Tea Leaves, but it’s definitely worth it. You can’t buy the seeds at your local supermarket, but you can craft them if you know the Tea Sapling recipe.

Basically, you will get the recipe if you’re nice to Caroline (after your 2-heart-event).

Here’s what you will need for the Sapling: 5 Fiber and 5 Wood. Seems simple enough, right?

Taking Care of the Tea in Stardew Valley

Growing Tea doesn’t have to be that complicated if you know the process. First of all, you don’t have to water Tea Saplings, and that saves a lot of time! Also, if you keep your Sapling indoors, it can grow even in Winter.

Here’s How You Can Use Tea in Stardew Valley

A Gift That Keeps On Giving

Did you know that Green Tea can actually be a good gift? For example, you can get the best results if you give this as a gift to Caroline and Lewis. However, you can still impress such people as Abigail, Elliott, Pam, or Gus with this item!

Even the friendly monster Krobus would actually like a nice cup of Green Tea!

Use It For Tailoring

Have you ever wanted to make a t-shirt in Stardew Valley? Well, you can make a Tea Shirt! Get it? It’s definitely a 10/10 pun. If you have Green Tea and a Sewing Machine, you can create something quite nice!

A Great Option For Health

It’s no surprise that Tea is very healthy in the regular world, however, Stardew Valley also understands that. If the player consumes Green Tea, they will get +30 Max Energy and also improve their overall energy and health levels.

Protect Your Animals

Once your Tea is growing and you have Tea Bushes, you can actually use them as a fence and protect your animals this way by keeping them within your territory. This is a very useful trick if you don’t want to spend additional money and want to get the most out of your items!

P.S if you’re wondering how to get a Tea Bush, it grows from a Tea Sapling and takes about 20 days.

Here’s everything you need to know about Tea! It’s quite profitable and very good for your health, so definitely consider the possibility of growing it in the game!
