Fishing is a mini game in Stardew Valley where you must keep an icon of a fish in a green box for a certain amount of time. Sounds easy, right? Well there’s a catch, the fish moves up and down rapidly making it much harder to track where the fish is in the bar. If you complete the challenge of keeping the fish in the box, you will be rewarded with a certain fish based on fishing location, season, weather and time. The tenacity of the fish will determine the quality of the fish. Higher quality (more expensive) fish will be much harder to catch compared to your average sardine.
