To do so, you will first have to find and read the Secret Note #23. This note comes as a random drop from various sources, including Artifact Spots, Fishing, and Monster drops. This note will tell you to bring Maple Syrup for the Bear to the Forest West (Secret Woods) in Stardew Valley Expanded.
You can get the Maple Syrup by making use of a Tapper on a Maple Tree. Once you have the Maple Syrup, you can deliver it to the Bear’s cave any time. Doing so would unlock the Bear’s shop, from where you can purchase various items that are not available in all seasons.
